Presentation of the collection of songs “MY LIFE, MY LETTERS”

The educational and rehabilitation center “Sveti Josip Radnik” last night organized a well-attended presentation of the collection of poems “My life, my letters” by Marko Markan Golemac. The presentation was held in the aforementioned educational and rehabilitation center, and the collection was presented to the Broć audience by Marko Markan Golemac, writer Miljenka Koštro, prof. Marijan Mandić and Daniela Škegro, who was also the moderator of tonight’s presentation.

The presentation of the collection of poems in which Marko Markan Golemac takes the readers through his experiences, thoughts and emotions with beautiful words is also enriched by a cultural and entertainment program in which Ivana Pavković and Broćanski bećari performed.

During the presentation, it was pointed out that Marko Markan Golemac has a unique writing style and that Golemac’s poems are in a special way imbued with love for the place Vrdi and its inhabitants, but the author also writes patriotic poems, as well as poems inspired by other lofty feelings.

It can rightly be said that Marko Markan Golemac erected a beautiful monument to his birthplace with his verses, but at the same time the collection of poems is also a kind of presentation of the author’s life. Although he encountered many problems throughout his life, including illness from early childhood, Marko Markan Golemac did not neglect his poetic talent, but relying on his faith, he wrote numerous poems, some of which were included in the first collection.

The author of the collection of songs “My life, my letters” wrote appropriate verses of thanks for last night’s presentation, and his verses, his words, the words of the presenter, as well as the entire presentation caused special emotions in those present.
