Signing of the Protocol for the Unicef project
Due to the improvement of the previous cooperation of institutions and organizations at the local level with the aim of increasing the employment of beneficiaries of social welfare rights from defined vulnerable groups and reducing dependence on social benefits: Municipality of Čitluk, Working group for social entrepreneurship and integrated case management, and institutions and organizations from the territory of the municipality of Čitluk today in the meeting hall of the Municipality of Čitluk they signed the Protocol on the cooperation of institutions and organizations at the local level with the aim of strengthening the social care system at the local level by introducing a model of integrated case management.
The aforementioned protocol on cooperation with the Municipality of Čitluk and the working group was signed by: Center for Social Work Čitluk, Employment Service of Herzegovina-Neretva County, Branch Office Čitluk, Kindergarten Čitluk, Educational and Rehabilitation Center “St. Josip Radnik” Čitluk, Tourist Board of HNŽ , Čitluk branch, Brotnjo Association of Businessmen and Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Special Needs “Susret”.
The signed Protocol establishes cooperation between institutions and organizations at the level of the municipality of Čitluk in the field of integrated case management with the aim of work activation and integration into the labor market of defined priority vulnerable groups of beneficiaries of social welfare rights and with the aim of reducing their dependence on social benefits.
The protocol ensures the timely and efficient provision of services and the exercise of user rights through a multi-sector approach to work, while respecting the principles of legality, transparency, partnership, equality and gender equality, responsibility, efficiency, economy and professional integrated case management is an innovative approach for the inclusion of a defined group of users social rights and services to the labor market, which enables the creation of an integrated package of policies and measures for social welfare and the labor market, including all relevant sectors in the provision of social services to users who are furthest from the labor market.
By the way, Čitluk Municipality, together with local institutions and organizations, is the first of the ten municipalities and cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which participate in the UNICEF project, to sign the Cooperation Protocol. It is about the project “Strengthening social and health protection in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Bosnia and Herzegovina” which is being implemented by UNICEF in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the financial support of USAID and in partnership with the Union of Social Workers. The signing of the Protocol, along with representatives of the Municipality of Čitluk and representatives of local institutions and organizations, was attended by Mrs. Vera Bartel, expert consultant of UNICEF on the project, Mirnes Telalović, president of the Federation of Social Workers of FBiH and BiH and Mrs. Janja Milinković, project coordinator for the Municipality of Čitluk and employee Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Welfare HNŽ.
